Step Back (Take A Look Around) [feat Laila K] CHORUS Sometimes I just have to step back and really take a look around, How insignificant my troubles start to seem. We obsess over all the little pointless things which can be found, Wasting our time, losing our sense of sympathy. VERSE 1 I look back to the past, to the times my doubts would always last, Thoughts would get the best of me. Insignificancies, gnawing at my brain like a disease, How simple all of it seems. PRE-CHORUS 1 All that I took for granted, I wish are all I'd wanted, but you don’t know until it’s gone. VERSE 2 Yeah we've all made mistakes, been at the wrong time at the wrong place, But that doesn’t matter now. Those who matter to you, should be all that matter that is true, That’s overlooked anyhow. PRE-CHORUS 2 All that you hear about fills up your head with doubts, don’t let them be the be/end-all. BRIDGE I find it funny what they tell you, convince you of and what they sell you. They don’t give a fuck if it’s wrong. Take a step back, change your point of view, Clear your thoughts and see the passage through, Rocks that blocked your avenue before don’t look so big anymore, Time is like a feather on the breeze. Don’t mistake the forest for the trees, All the riches in the world you’ll find on the outside of your mind. And in the end that is all that matters to me, that I don't let myself lose my humanity.

Lost The Plot VERSE 1 I've lost the plot, And all I've got, Seems to me like it's no longer worth a lot, As all of my friends they have disowned me, And claimed they'd never wished to have known me. It goes to show you, That you don't know who, Will be the next to let the truth slip through, It's such a shame they claim I'm to blame but that's my job and, That will always be the same. CHORUS They'll take theirs and I'll take mine like before we'll work this out in time. I hate to bring back up the past, But I always was the one laughing last. I don't repress I'll never change, Just like deep down I know they'll stay the same. The next day will reset be just like the last and we'll never question "Why?" Just let it pass. VERSE 2 I gave a shot, At being what, Everyone had already deemed I was not, But once again I was a failure, I guess it's just not in my nature. So why repeat, what's been done before, Continue on, never to reform? I don't believe that should be the status quo, Accepting accepting only what we already know.
3.
Wisdom Teeth VERSE 1 I get violent every single time I leave the house. The red mist descends and I get my fists out. Your faults I could list them, well a man of my years and all my wisdom and I’ve seen it all before and I don’t mean to sound so boring. Did I end up bitter and twisted? I blame my flaws on the system. Out on the piss, I miss my kids. The truth is that I don’t give a shit. My brain is full of hate crimes from the mailonline.com and telly in the daytime. Anybody know if I’m joking? No! Habitual epiphanist, I get a bit Phil Mitchell when I raise my fists. CHORUS Do as I say, but not as I do, cos you don’t know anything about nothing do you? VERSE 2 I’m a cashlessness converter. When I’m on it, my wallet never heard of inertia. Dear Sir/Madam sit down, have a whip-around. I drink gin then I sing. This country’s going backwards. Why the fuck do I pay my taxes? I could be lying on my back just strapped to a mattress. When he answer the phone like “who dis?” My goodness, what’s with the rudeness! Champagne when I wanna. Gonna state my case with a face full of doner. Come the dawn of the morning it’s the same cos we all fall down the same way. BRIDGE Just wait til your father comes home and shows you the back of his hand. Cos he promises all that you are is nothing compared to a real man.
